Our Story
We've been in business since 2005, that was the year SecretBook 1.0 was introduced. Ever since then we've been working on adding features based on users requests and comments. Our development background is in Mac programming since 1984, and Cocoa/NeXTstep since 1991. We know security well too, having worked on security software for more than one bank.
In 2008 we introduced SongBook, an application for network music control. SongBook touch and SongBook Mac are the start of a range of audio and home automation related software packages to be released over the coming years.
SecretBook (Mac and iPhone) has now been purchased by app4mac. With the support and marketing abilities of app4mac SecretBook is doing better than ever, and this has cleared the way for Bookshelf apps to concentrate completely on the home audio market.
Bookshelf Apps Limited is a New Zealand registered company, with development and support based in London, UK.

Unfortunately we cannot refund the purchase of any iPhone software. Please contact Apple for refunds of iPhone applications.

Bookshelf Apps will never sell, disclose or otherwise abuse any information you provide during the course of doing business. Sensitive information such as credit card numbers are never stored in any databases, and and SSL encryption is used during all transmissions over the internet.
