SongBook and Cara 3
Currently, SongBook does not work correctly with Cara 3 if you have a Linn DS with an internal preamp. This includes the Sneaky Music DS, Sekrit DS-I and probably the Majik DS with internal volume control enabled. If you don’t use the internal preamp everything should work still.
Linn made some changes to the software interface between Cara 2 and Cara 3, and this has caused an incompatibility with SongBook. We don’t get advance notice of these changes, so the only thing we can do is to test at release time.
We are working on a new release that will restore the preamp functionality. This will be released first for the Mac version, the iPhone release will probably be about 4 weeks away due to the Apple approval process.
We are also working on a reference page for the web site that will list supported devices and software versions, it may pay to check there before upgrading Linn firmware in the future.

October 11th, 2009 doesn(t work with Majik DS either.
songbook starts up, recogniszes the room and servers on the startup image and shuts down after a couple of seconds.- Uli Lennartz

My songbook didn’t work since the cara update 3 and now 4. The song book didn’t find the room and the server. What can I do?
