SongBook has been built from the ground up to support multiple devices, by using SongBook as the basis for your Mac and iPhone support you're getting production proven code in the quickest time possible.
Our Linn DS products have sold incredibly well, exceeding early estimates by 5 times.
Mac users want native Mac support for any devices they buy, if you don't provide this support you are missing on a significant market. Windows may be the standard for office users, but in the home Apple has a significant market share.
SongBook Mac and iPhone are based on shared code, so with one implementation it is possible to add both Mac and iPhone support to your product. We started with Linn DS support and are in the process of adding support for a number of other devices. UPNP support is the easiest, but we have implemented non UPNP based protocols as well.
As time goes on we are adding more and more internet based services to the product as well. We've started with world class Internet Radio support, and are adding services such as Last.fm.
We are open to varied business models, anything from product bundling to branded sales or just adding support for your device to our standard product.
